Homemade potato salad garnished with red onion, crisp lettuce and a baby plum tomato in the smaller box.
Wholewheat-breaded fishsticks on brown rice, a yellow tomato slice, broccoli tossed in sesame oil and a slice of pomegrenade in the bigger box.
There’s another reason for the title than just the fishsticks, I wonder if anyone can spot it… (hint: I was rather tired when I made this bento x.x)
BF gets the same in a square HK box:
Ah, so not completely vegetarian I see ;)
Is that really enough for you and your bf for lunch? I have a feeling I’d be hungry again in no time.
No, pescetarian. That means I eat seafood, but no poultry or red meat. I haven’t yet gotten the opportunity to try alligator, so the jury is out on what that one counts as :)
You get used to the portion sizes; also, the potato salad and the rice are quite filling! I pack my bentos with regards to filling food, actually.
By the way, I served this for dinner with your honey-cashew crust salmon instead of fishsticks. It was delicious! (I wanted to comment on your blog but I’m a bit wary of having to register…)
;)
Looks yummy!
How does the bento box fit together? The tier on the right looks sort of like a lid.
Pescetarian! Thank you, I knew there was a word for it, but couldn’t remember what it was.
Alligator is quite similar to chicken in both taste and texture… at least the one I had 10 years ago was ;)
I’m glad you liked the honey-cashew salmon. Definitely one of my favourite ways to have fish! :-)
