It’s a very simple bentobox to start bentoing again, but it will serve for now.
Wholewheat spaghetti with two types of sauce: one contains shredded zucchini and tomato sauce, the other is lightly fried onions and shredded carrots with a dash of balsamic vinegar. Both are seasoned with fresh rosemary, herbes de provence and a little salt and pepper. Together they make a rather lovely replacement for bolognese!
It would probably look even cuter if I had put the tomato sauce separately, but I haven’t unpacked all my pots yet…
In the sidebar are some nuts with chocolate and sugar, frozen strawberries and another chocolate.
Simple, I know… but still good! I have a bad conscience as the last weeks have found me eating out all too much. So I’m trying to re-train my stomach to bento. I’m using the big male box for now, so I don’t get sudden sugar drops – and my new employer generously supplies as much bananas as the code monkeys can eat every day in case of sugar emergencies.
Organic check: Carrots, onions, baby zucchini.
I did another bento a while ago, but it feeled a bit too small to post on it’s own. Here it is:
Just some pasta pockets and salad… but something just stares at you in that thing!
And here’s the new kitchen – I know the photo sucks, I should take a new one in daylight. Well, it’s not so much the new kitchen as all my spices that I finally unpacked! Woohoo!
