Homemade gnocchi in tomato-bell pepper sauce (the smooth version of the recipe below) with parmesan and a basil leaf in the small container; Feta cubes (have to get some protein into me somehow), homegrown yellow and red cherry tomatoes, broccoli, bell pepper and grated carrots in the big container.
Not the most inspired arrangement… I was [...]

I got two cooking magazines in the mail yesterday! That would not be so special, but they were sent by my grandma. :)
And they were good – one recipe specifically caught my eye and I had to cook it immediately! I’ve been looking for ways to use some more of my lovely cherry tomatoes, and [...]

Yes… I need to update more often, sorry :(
It’s simple, but here’s the blog post that reminded me to make this more often.

Mm… there’s not really anything that beats food grown in your own home. Jalapeños, cherry tomatoes, rucola and basil, all homegrown. (Bought the mozarella and the baguette, due to a certain lack of buffalo around here and being out of flour :) )
I have a few old-ish pictures to post too, so keep an eye [...]

I wanted to do a bento for the green monochrome challenge on Livejournal, but the menu for last night turned out to be pizza which is… not green XD
So we have red feta-and-sundried-tomato pizza slices with green sides consisting of lettuce, rucola (to put on the warmed pizza, mmm!) green olives with almonds, and half [...]

I recently found those lovely, huge colourful pasta tubes. I love trying out new shapes of pasta!
The only problem is that a lot of said shapes come in sizes that are, let’s face it, designed to hold Bolognese sauce – and a lot of it. Conchiglie, Cannelloni and now these tubes – they are fun, [...]

My lunch bento for today: veggie lasagna cubes, asparagus, grapes, cherry tomatoes and some potato croquettes, all on iceberg lettuce with some more lettuce stuffed between the food as a stabiliser and to be eaten with balsamic vinegar (in the bottle) on top.
My art classes start again tonight so I’m bringing a snack bento to [...]

Homemade pizza pockets with mushrooms on lettuce, some spinach with garlic in a cup, sundried and non-dried tomatos, cress, grapes, a bottle of vinegar and a minimuffin.
The BF’s pizza pocket got prettier. I don’t know why mine fell in and didn’t get as nice and poofy!
They’re filled with tomato sauce (the best pizza sauce is [...]
