I make my own prawn stock though, and spice it up with that.

For convenience's sake I buy frozen wonton wrappers from time to time, but I have made them myself before as well. The dough is just flour and very little cold water. It should be rather compact.
Steaming works best for me. When I cooked the first batch in the soup they got a little soggy, but the ones in my bento were lightly pre-steamed and then dropped into the hot soup and microwaved on high power for another minute, which seemed to work well.</description>
