Back from Austria, where I took photos of a nice conservatory.
I might be posting more photos later, but for now have a weird fruit:

A mutated citrus fruit in which the wedges do not connect at the bottom, but grow each their own peel. It’s called “Buddha’s hand” in its native India (I think).
I wonder how it tastes…?
Wow that fruit almost looks like an alien. I could imagine it jumping off the tree and face sucking somebody. *shiver*
hmm maybe my imagination is too vivid. lol
I think they taste similar to lemons…if I remember correctly from a lecture by Alton Brown during an episode of “Iron Chef”….
they are actually disappointingly bland. vaguely like a citrus-y apple. not worth the price tag in my neck of the woods. unless you need a fruit-based centerpiece.
I don’t think people eat it as fruit since there isn’t much pulp inside. But my mom used to get those as short term decor since they realy smell good.
